IT'S ALL ABOUT COMMUNITY | After spending a lot of time negotiating permits to secure a unique location, we ended up frustrated, faced with one too many compromises we were not prepared to accept. Then, in true New York style, a local venue welcomed us with open arms at the eleventh hour and made the whole thing possible. Wow! We were blown away by their incredible willingness to see this vision come alive. What's not to love about a team effort cooked up on the spot? Even better, it turned out to be the perfect collaboration and the ideal space. Giddy with enthusiasm, we pulled together and dialed up a nostalgic slice of New York, before combining it with a heady vision of the future. This was the first Salon I 'officially' co-hosted, and what an extraordinary experience it turned out to be. Fourteen adventurous souls walked through the red door that evening, bringing with them all their insights, and experiences, and wonderful particularities.
