FEEL
To feel emotion and an environment physicalness is unique to each individual. I believe very much that authentic, open, inventive, diverse and caring energy from every soul enables newness hence every person who walked through the door each night did indeed manifest three distinct evenings filled with feeling and infinite possibility. I am honored that Frank Rainer joined to actualize and photograph each night and that we could use narrative from writer Paul Bowles to inspire us. And also, that you met my Berber friend Hassan Mouhou who lives in the desert! Graceful atop a dune ~ in the invitation photograph you see here taken on one of my desert sojourns ~ he was an inspiration and your first connection to JOUR•NY. I chose this image because for me it personifies the seeker, the giver, the receiver ~ and delightfully somehow ~ the beauty and mystery of the universe.
